About Us

Beattie franchise was started by Dr R. A. Beattie in 1952 with our Brantford location, Beattie Animal Hospital. Since then we have come a long way, expanding to Ancaster, Burlington, Stoney Creek and our newest location in East Hamilton. Our original location is still open and caring for pets to this day, in the same place for over 70 years.

At our Stoney Creek location, we offer a full service pet hospital with an in-clinic lab, pharmacy and overnight hospitalization. We do routine and emergency operations with our surgical staff multiple times a week. There is ALWAYS a technician and animal assistant onsite to answer overnight questions, book appointments or for food and medication pickup. Our retail area is right next to the front desk with the most popular prescription diets and our online store carries anything else we don’t have in store.
