Daniela graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at St. Lawrence College in 2003. She then completed the first year Veterinary Technician program there as well. She has been in the Veterinary field for over 15 years working as a technician but decided she needed a change in atmosphere and joined the Beattie Stoney Creek team in October 2018 as a night assistant and reception. She has a wide range of experience with dogs, cats, taking x-rays, restraining patients, taking blood draws, placing iv catheters, administer medications, filling prescriptions, monitoring patients during and after surgery and many more.

Daniela lives with her 4 male tabby cats named Nacho, Taco Cheeto and Frito. Cheeto is known to flush the toilet and turn on the alarm clock or his laser toy but needs some practice turning them off when not in use…

Daniela enjoys travelling to different islands every year and has had the opportunity to travel to over 10 destinations where she has had monkey, iguana, sloth and bird encounters. She would like to continue to explore more in the future. She enjoys cake decorating, baking and cooking in her spare time, going to the movies, going on walks by the water, spending time at the beach and working out.
